SHARE YOUR LIGHT NIGHT citywide luminary event

Saturday, December 13th between 7 - 10 PM

Come curbside to display your luminaries and connect your ribbon of light with your adjoining neighbor. If you still want luminaries, call 714-2772. If there are any left, Illuminate A Cause, LLC will be happy to bring them to you if you contact them now! Otherwside, you can obtain luminaries through Michaels (battery operated tea lights, sand and a white bag) and other retailers.

Bundle up, walk the neighborhood, venture to Susquehanna Drive. Remember, if we get to 100% participation (or near to it this year) next year we will arrange to have horse and carriage rides and a light parade to kick off SYLNight 2009!

Don't forget to take photographs of the event. When setting your camera, we have found using the "fireworks" setting really captures the beauty of the ribbons of light.

There are seed groups displaying luminaries on Carolanne Point, Cayuga, Chickasaw, Coventry, King Christian, Sherluck, Gainsborough and many other areas throughout our community. Drive around, walk around, get around and meet new friends!

Come to Susquehanna and consider setting up a little booth with warm cocoa or cider. Bring a CD player and play holiday music. Make magic and create joy for others!

See you out and about Saturday.

Please copy and past the information below into an email and send it to everyone in your address book. Instead of saying it was "verified by snopes.com"... better to simply offer the link so all can read for themselves and learn more.
