URGENT CRIME BULLETIN:
At approximately 12:30 AM this morning, there was an armed robbery near the intersection of Bosworth and King Christian Roads of Carolanne Farms.
A suspicious vehicle was seen parked near the victim’s home. Once the victims parked their car, the suspect approached the parking vehicle, pointed a shotgun at the driver and demanded that they turn over what they had.
The main suspect was a younger African American, approximately 6-6’2”, 180 lbs. wearing a black ‘biker-style’ ski mask with a skull and crossbones on it.
The victims turned over a pocket book and within 30 minutes, the suspects went on a shopping spree in Norfolk.
Also last night, there was a car alarm set off at about 2 AM. Then later, at about 5AM, at least one person wearing all black was seen running through the backyards of the homes that back up to “Turtle Lake” (Carolanne Farm Park).
• PLEASE, keep your homes and vehicles locked at all times.
• REPORT ALL SUSPICIOUS VEHICLES that do not belong in the neighborhood.
• Always, REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.
• CALL the VB Police Department’s non-emergency number, 385-5000, or 911 if you see a crime in progress.
• SHARE THIS GROUP and THIS POST with all of your friends and neighbors that live in CAF/AH.
• Post if you see something also, but ONLY AFTER you report it to the VB Police Department. They are the ones that need to hear it first!

Large Screen TV's being stolen throughout Virginia Beach
Over the past few months Virginia Beach has experienced an increase in burglaries where large screen TV are being stolen. In some instances the suspect has been known to ring the door bell and if no one answers, go to the rear and break a window to enter. If the homeowner answers then the subject will simply say he is looking for a certain person and walk away.
Remember to watch out for your neighbors and report ALL suspicious activity. Call 9-1-1 for crimes in progress, or 385-5000 for non-emergency police reports.
