On Tuesday, Jan. 30, 7:15 to 9 p.m., at Kellam High School, the Virginia Beach City Council will hold the first in a series of 2007 citywide town meetings to meet with citizens on issues identified by the Council as critical to the future of our community.
The first 2007 Citywide town meeting will be connected to the objective of providing for an improved city transportation system: What is Virginia Beach’s transportation future and how do we pay for it?
The format of the meeting includes: an informal exchange of information (with cookies), a warm-up briefing on transportation funding and a roundtable dialogue on funding options. The evening will conclude with dialogue on any issue brought up by the attendees at their individual tables.
Pre-registration is required. To register, please call the Public Information Office at 311 or 385-3111. Please do not call the school.
