Managing Stormwater: Our Escalating Challenge
Rain is a precious resource
UNLESS WE GET TOO MUCH AND…
- it floods streets,
- invades our homes,
- or washes pollutants into our rivers, bays and ocean.
The stormwater management system is only as good as its critical parts, and water quality is only as good as our ability to treat stormwater before it flows into our waterways.
The Virginia Beach City Council invites residents to gather and talk about the
stormwater management system. Bring your ideas!
