What is Try Transit Week?
Try Transit Week, which takes place from September 22 to 25, 2008, is a statewide event to encourage everyone to avoid driving solo and give transit options including bus and rail service, carpools, vanpools and telework a try.

How do I try transit?
Visit www.trytransitweek.com, learn about the transit options in your area and pledge to try transit during the week of September 22-25. When you pledge to try transit, you will be automatically entered for a chance to win a one year transit pass to the transit operator of your choice to ride free for a year!* In addition, your registration will help your locality win the contest for the highest number of pledges.
